Support the band

Newark and Sherwood Concert Band is a registered charity. As well as receiving income from concerts, it relies on public and private support.

If you would like to support the band, there are a number of different ways you can do this.

Easy Fundraising

Newark and Sherwood Concert Band are registered with easyfundraising, which means you can raise FREE donations for us every time you shop online. Over 7,000 brands will donate to us when you use easyfundraising to shop with them – at no extra cost to yourself!

Newark & Sherwood Community Lottery

You can now support NSCB by taking part in the Newark and Sherwood Community Lottery - an exciting weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in the district.

Each ticket is £1 and players have a 50-to-one chance of winning one of the prizes, which range from the jackpot to free tickets. 60p comes to the concert band, 20% goes to the prize fund, and the rest is for running costs and VAT.

The lottery has been registered for a licence through the Gambling Commission and is also registered with the Lotteries Council, which will provide advocacy and guidance on operating the lottery.
